A consoling story about the unfortunate measures some have to take or witness to survive. Guitar is mostly long sustains on odd jazz chords with a bridge of alt-strums to shake things up. Bass is the star of the show, and while it's not overly complex, there is a lot of power in what is being played, and a good deal of charting diversity despite how sparse the arrangement can be. Drums incorporate a slight math-rock flavor with a start-stop rhythm that is quite cymbal-heavy.
